Meaning

The Two of Cups is two people meeting as equals. Reciprocity: the feeling that is returned, the offer that is accepted, the agreement where both benefit. It is the card of the healthy pair — in love, in friendship or in business.

How it shows up

There may be a date, a meeting, an introduction that leads to a second one. An agreement may be signed by mutual consent: contract, partnership, sale. Reconciliation may come after a fight. That rare moment of “we understood each other” may happen.

Love

It can be mutual feeling: not "who conquers whom" but "we chose each other". There may be an important date, a conversation that brings you closer, a commitment. With a hard card beside it — the balance tipped: one loves, the other lets themself be loved.

Work and money

A partnership of equals may form: co-founding, collaboration, a deal both sides walk away happy from. Negotiations go warm. In money: a fair exchange.

Health

Health strengthens in company: less stress next to "your" people is a measurable fact. Practices for two: dancing, walks.

Reversed

Imbalance: one loves, the other merely allows it. A bond breaking, a misunderstanding, an agreement undone. A union on paper with a divorce underneath.

Yes or no

Yes — mutual.

Timing

1st decan of Cancer (21 June – 1 July); through two people meeting.

Advice

Look for balance, not for victory over the other.

Symbolism

The man and the woman exchange cups; above them, Hermes' caduceus with a winged lion's head. The exchange is the essence: not one gives and the other takes — it is movement there and back.
