King of Pentacles: tarot card meaning
abundance
There is only one test of wealth — who serves whom; in this card's reversed version, owner and tool swap places without the owner noticing.

The King of Pentacles is the summit of the material suit: wealth turned into character. Money for him is neither a goal nor an anxiety — it is a means he governs calmly, the way a gardener governs the climate of a greenhouse. As a person: a solvent, reliable man — a banker, an entrepreneur, a provider.
How it shows up
A well-resourced person may appear: an investor, a sponsor, a protector, an elder with capital and advice — their backing can demand a lot, but offer a lot too. A big deal with a serious counterpart may close. You may make your own jump into the “I manage, I do not merely survive” league.
Love
It can be a partner who is a foundation: with him there are no storms and no hardship. Love may be expressed through providing: a home, stability, "it's handled" — whoever needs words will get silence from him; whoever needs solidity gets a house.
Work and money
It can be the crown of the suit: a stable business, investments yielding, reputation capitalized. Decisions with a horizon of years may be taken. In money: governed abundance — money makes money under the owner's eye.
Health
A strong constitution with the risk of too much time in an armchair: the magnate's body needs the gym as much as his business needs an audit. Excess at the table is the classic weak spot.
Reversed
Materialism: the price of everything, the value of nothing. Greed on the throne: there is abundance, sharing is a tragedy. Status instead of substance.
Yes or no
Yes — solid and for the long run.
Timing
Through a solvent man or a mature financial decision; on a long horizon — certain.
Advice
Let wealth serve you — and not the other way round.
Symbolism
The king in a cloak embroidered with grapes on a throne with bulls' heads; the scepter in one hand, the coin under the other; at his feet, the city. The cloak of grapes: abundance has grown into his appearance — he is the harvest himself.
